Pakistan America Dialogue

American agencies, establishment, politician and rest of the world has come to the conclusion that durable peace in Afghanistan is not possible without involving Pakistan and assuring Pakistan that its interest on the western border will be looked after in any major move or settlement in Afghanistan. So once again USA and the western world have accepted Pakistan influence on its western neighbour.
Once again thi is a very huge window of opportunity for Pakistani politicians, army and establishment that this time we ask for some solid help and commitment for our country and people. There are some key sectors in which we need to move and move fast and getting American help in these sectors will be vital. Some of the key issue which we should raise with USA are as follows.
1.    Help in energy sector including the possibility of civil nuclear technology transfer.
2.    Pakistan should ask for direct or de facto recognition of its nuclear capability.
3.    Ask USA to give Pakistan a deal again for duty and quota free exports to the EU and USA. It was given in 2002 but ended in 2005.
Army chief is gone to America with his wife, son, daughter and daughter in law. What was the need to take them with you Mr Kayani? So I can imagine who will benefit from strategic dialogue between America and Pakistan this time...Let’s hope it does not happen what I am dreading would happen yet again.

We are all working class now

In UK and America much has been propagated for the last decade or so that we all now live in a class less society. “Kushti” as Del Boy my favourite from Only Fools and Horses would say in response to this glittering claim. We all are middle class now. So the world has already turned into heaven and now there is no need for anyone to ask or cast votes on class based consciousness. We just need to select anyone with better charms and looks like Mr David Cameron etc. The state has not much to do now as we have already become equals. They just need to repair roads build and improve infra structure of this wonderful paradise and that’s it.

Well I am sorry to tell you that if this is the case then its fool’s paradise and we all have been bamboozled by the so-called main stream all middle class media and politicians alike. Even the politicians like John Prescott who has spent almost his entire political carrier for fighting the equality and opportunity based on socialist principle have said in recent past that “"we are all middle class now". If I ask him now, I am sure he would have to say that “we are all working class now” .That proved when almost all major UK banks needed our tax money to be saved.

Recent recession and the following slump in many sectors of the economy has brought the class right back into the politics which in my belief it always was. We were just blind folded by some magicians and tacticians of New Labour. I don’t mention conservative as that they just needed to nod their head whatever new labour was doing as that is their belief from day one i.e., have and have not’s will always be there so why bother.

The New Labour era is almost end now. Let’s hope old labour comes back from somewhere. Mr Prescott might be able to tell us where we should look for it.

What is Truth?

This is the first question which I faced when I took the first step of conciousness. What is truth? My first idea about truth was that it is what you believe, but slowly and steadily that belief about truth vaporized and once again there was a black hole in my being. Black hole of nothing ness. Then I thought that may be this nothing ness is truth. Real truth. But soon after I was filled with another hope and that nothingness vanished, that black hole started to lose its grip.I was back to square zero. Question i asked myself that day or night whatever it was, How can truth vanish, just go and abandon me in this wasteland, mercurial, fickle, fallacious sand of time. Truth must be an omnipotent thing like God or something, I murmured.Trouble. Journey.Trouble. Search. But this time the search was not intended to find the truth rather it was to have fun in finding what is truth. One day I was having fun with my inquisition to find truth and boom there was a flux of colourless light and energy originating from my heart and covering the whole universe. Eureka. I said loudly, left the bath tub and ran around the town naked.
